Valerie Schuler

Valerie was born in Germany and lived in France for ten years before arriving in Auckland in 1995. After travelling for a number of years and working in the field of design and architecture, she returned to Auckland to re-train as a journalist. In 2007, she completed a Bachelor of Communication Studies majoring in journalism at AUT. She has since joined the Aucklander, working on the North Shore and West editions. Valerie's hobbies include running, travelling and art - she has several exhibitions of her contemporary paintings and sculpture.
