The French Cafe named among world's best

Auckland's The French Cafe has been voted in the top five best fine-dining establishments in the world by TripAdvisor.

The restaurant run by Simon Wright and his wife Creghan Molloy Wright, came in at number four in the 2014 Travelers' Choice Restaurant Awards.

The top ten restaurants were nominated by millions of TripAdvisor users.

"The service was just right, the flavours of the food amazing, the presentation was a work of art, the music and atmosphere spot on," said one reviewer.

"The Travelers' Choice restaurant winners have won over the TripAdvisor community with their outstanding food, service and ambience - the perfect ingredients for a memorable fine dining experience," said Barbara Messing, chief marketing officer for TripAdvisor.
