Police are working to identify a body found in water at the Auckland waterfront yesterday.
Emergency services retrieved a body located in the water at Auckland Ports at 1pm Sunday.
On Friday afternoon divers completed their search of the Auckland harbour front as Police continued to investigate the disappearance ofIndian student Mandeep Singh.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Marcia Murray said that the search had failed to provide any further lines of enquiry into the disappearance of Mandeep.
"Police do now know that Mandeep was seen on a pier in Queens Wharf just after 4am on Sunday morning and was alone at the time.
