One dead after Maraetai car crash

One person has died after two cars crashed in Maraetai.

Police said the preson was believed to be a male.

Emergency Services were called to the intersection of Whitfordmaraetai Road and Waikopua Road at 6am.

The crash closed Whitfordmaraetai Road on both sides of the intersection.
