Man arrested after Clendon Park assault

Save Police have arrested a 20-year-old man after a serious assault in the Auckland suburb of Clendon Park last night.
Police and ambulance were called to the scene at around 12:30am early this morning.
A 48-year-old man was taken to Middlemore Hospital and has since been transferred to Auckland Hospital where
he remains in a critical condition.
Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Ellwood on Manurewa CIB says the two men were known to each other.
"Police will continue their enquiries today to establish what happened at the address," Detective Ellwood said.
