Rowena, Delighted to see someone highlight the discraceful state of these Public Toilets! Despite what council say they are NEVER clean - always filthy, smell like a broke sewer line, covered in graffi & a public health hazard. I brought the issue up with the Manukau City in November 2007 referenceno1353768 dated 2/1107 with a Mr Eddie Sella who promised to make every effort to have them made acceptable for use. Have gone back several times to lodge a complaint without ANY success, seems the contractor does what he likes & the COUNCIL goes with it! Perhaps the mayor should take his family down and see their reaction. Mr Conway is right they are no better than a pigsty that's never cleaned, as for MR Cuplan hes been rolling out the same replies for years!!! Regards Les Rankin
