Auckland is the fastest growing city in New Zealand in terms of population, businesses, infrastructure and houses. It is really overwhelming and great to see the city growing at such a fast paced rate. Papatoetoe is now more of an Indian Community because the developing businesses are clothing, jewelleries and
restaurants. There are about 80% of Indian shops in Old Papatoetoe and more are expected to open sooner or later. It feels great to see the progress in Papatoetoe but most of these shops are Indian clothing stores.
Looking at the market situation, it can be concluded that the competition amongst the shopkeepers are getting stiff day by day. Due to enormous clothing stores, customers have more choices and this is a plus point to the consumers. It is predictable that in future, the market can become chaotic and consumers will have more opportunities to benefit from this.
