Although I'm a huge Destiny's Child fan, in the past I haven't been too keen on Kelly Rowland's solo projects - until now.

Since getting my hands on Rowland's latest album, Here I Am, I haven't been able to put it down.

Admittedly, I was slightly unsure given that I wasn't much of a fan of her first single from the album Commander. However, when I heard the next single, Motivation, featuring Lil Wayne, I couldn't wait to see what else the album had to offer. The urban remix of Commander, featuring Nelly, which is on the album, is my preferred version.

Independence and self-satisfaction, admiration and love are definite themes throughout this album.

Although I'm a fan of the whole album, I do have a few tracks that are constantly put on repeat, including I'm Dat Chick, Feeling Me Right Now, Motivation, featuring Lil Wayne, and Work It Man featuring Lil Play. Other tracks to keep an ear out for are All of My Love, featuring Rico Love, Turn It Up, Lay It On Me and Down For Whatever.

If you haven't been a solo Kelly Rowland fan in the past, but are partial to a bit of R&B, pop and house music, I'm sure this will turn you into a fan.
