The Dove Pink Star Walk is back for a fifth year on Saturday, October 2 at the Auckland Domain.
This year's event aims to double the number of entries and the amount of funds raised for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
Setting off at 7pm in a glow of pink, friends, families, parents and children will join together for a leisurely 5km walk around the Auckland Domain followed by music, entertainment, goody bags and prizes at the finish area and a pink fireworks display to end the night.
Funds raised from the 5km Dove Pink Star Walk will go to The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation for research to improve survivorship of breast cancer.
Each year, more than 2600 New Zealand women are diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 600 women die from the disease.
Register at www.dovepinkstarwalk.co.nz (families and teams can register together).
To help everyone get into the pink spirit, those who register for the walk will receive an event pack with everything they need to know, plus a pink glow bracelet and a set of wings to personally decorate and and wear on the night!
