Is All Blacks Rugby Challenge worth the hype? Yes and no.
Although it's easily the best rugby game I've ever tackled, it lacks the final polish to elevate it to something special.
Graphically, this is a fantastically realised game, with the big-name players captured excellently and even the lesser lightsgiven enough variety to ensure they don't look like an attack of the clones.
Kudos must also be given to the environments, there's no cookie-cutter fields and crowds either, with an outstanding eye for detail being shown.
The gameplay is fairly easy to pick up, but has enough complexity for "challenge" junkies to refine their playing style and take it to the next level.
