A prominent Sydney solicitor is being sued by his daughter for allegedly sexually abusing her numerous times since the age of four.
Jayne Gersbach, 32, is planning to take her father, Rodney Gersbach, to court in civil precedings claiming he repeatedly raped and physically assaulted her in their family home for over 15 years.
Responding to the allegations, Mr Gersbach said there is no evidence to support her claims and it was all a lie in a bid to take her grandfather's inheritance, according to Fairfax Media.
Practising law for over 30 years in Sydney, Mr Gersbach strongly denies the claims, telling Fairfax Media she's doing this as a result of her mental and drug issues, including getting her hands on the money from his father's estate.
"The complaint was raised after she had an hallucination while having sex with her boyfriend while on ice [methamphetamine]. She saw my face on the face of her boyfriend.
"She [then] developed this story about child sexual abuse by me," he said.
The claim submitted by Ms Gersbach to the NSW Supreme Court includes allegations that she was raped at the age of eight during a bushwalk in Southern Sydney and was forced to perform oral sex on her mother.
Providing further details within the statement, Ms Gersbach outlines that throughout her younger years, up until the age of 11, she was belted across her bare buttocks after being sent to her parent's bedroom.
Throughout her late teens she was allegedly forced to have sex without consent and on one occasion when she woke up drowsy and unable to move as a teenager her father raped her.
Ms Gersbach is seeking aggravated and punitive damages. The court matter will continue in December.
Ms Gersbach has never been charged with any offence over his daughters allegations.
