The woman known to millions around the world as the "Iron Lady" has died.

Margaret Thatcher was the longest-serving British Prime Minister of the 20th, having served from 1975 to 1990, and the only woman ever to have held the office.

A controversial and divisive figure in life, the Baroness' death has sparked a conversation that continues to shed light on how she was viewed in the United Kingdom and around the world.
