Former Perth Wildcats guard Jaron Johnson has copped a three-month ban after testing positive to cannabis following an Australian Basketball League game last season.

Johnson tested positive following the Wildcats' match against the Breakers on November 13.

His ban started on March 24, and runs through until June 23.

He is ineligible to participate in any World Anti Doping Agency sanctioned sport during that period.
