Wet weather has ruined day one of the French Open in Paris.

Only 10 matches were completed.

Australian Nick Kyrgios has advanced but not without controversy - he received a code violation for speaking too loudly at a ball boy.

There was a scare for Petra Kvitova - the 10th seed was one game away from losing against Danka Kovinic, who crumbled when serving for the match.
