One of the most stunning endings to an NFL game took place this afternoon.
With the scores tied at 27 between the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns, Browns kicker Travis Coons lined up to kick a potential game-winning 51-yard field goal with 3 seconds to go.
Then this happened.
With time expiring, Will Hill returned the blocked field goal 64 yards for a touchdown - giving the Ravens the 34-27 win over a hapless Browns side who have now lost six games in a row.
The kick was deflected by defensive end Brent Urban, who was playing his first NFL game for the injury-riddled Ravens (4-7). Hill scooped it up and rumbled down the left sideline for an improbable win, stunning a Cleveland (2-9) crowd which moments earlier was ready to celebrate.
There were notably different reactions for all the parties involved.
The win continues a bizarre season for the Ravens, who have been shredded by injuries to key players and have had all 11 games this season end within eight points - the majority of the contests ending via a game-winning kick or interception.
For the Browns, well...
