New Zealand's leading female squash player Joelle King is into the second round of the US$40,000 ($51,866) Texas Open in Dallas after dispatching qualifier Olivia Blatchford.
King, the world No.14 and tournament fourth seed, beat the American 11-5, 11-3, 11-7 to set up a second round meeting with Hong Kong's Joey Chan.
