Ryan Nelsen has agreed terms on a new four-year deal with his English Premiership side Blackburn Rovers, the club's website is reporting today.
The 28 year-old All Whites captain has been a success at Rovers since his move from US soccer club DC United in 2005.
Nelsen has played 55 games to date for the Ewood Park club, who travel to Portsmouth on Saturday for their Premiership opener.
