The New Zealand women's team suffered a dual setback on their tour of North America yesterday.
They suffered defeat for the first time since arrived in the United States a week ago, with the Harlem Diamonds inflicting two losses on the tourists in Denver, Colorado.
The Diamonds won the first match 1-0 then backed up to beat the White Sox again 3-1.
The New Zealanders, who have registered five wins on tour, will remain in Denver this week for exhibition games before heading to Vancouver for the Canada Cup tournament.
