A superhero fan's ex girlfriend has sold his beloved 'Batmobile' after discovering that he had cheated on her.
Amy Estrada from Livonia, Michigan, claims she posted the "Batmobile Nitro" on Craigslist for $18,000 (NZ$28,585) after learning that another woman had paid for the car to be kitted out with batman features.
Estrada claims the car is in her name and that she purchased the car for her ex.
"Since the car was in my name, I decided to repossess it from him," she told Fox 2 Detroit.
The snazzy 2007 SUV comes complete with Bluetooth and a touch screen entertainment system that plays CDs and runs films, The Mirror reported.
"I cannot afford to keep it," she adds, "nor do I want to look at it anymore," she said.
The car has a note stuck to the back in which Estrada describes her former boyfriend as a "liar and a cheater and an abuser," The Independent reported.
Concluding the note, she writes: "Bye 'Batman'".
The car is still for sale online.
