The Warriors have today unveiled Matthew Elliott as their new head coach.
The former Bradford, Canberra and Penrith coach has signed a two-year-contract, replacing the vacant spot left by Brian McClennan who parted ways with the club with two matches left in the 2012 season.
Elliott becomes the club's ninth head coach, including Tony Iro's brief two-game stint at the end of last season, and the fourth Australian to take over the top job following John Monie (1995-1997), Daniel Anderson (2001-2004) and Ivan Cleary (2006-2011).
Warriors chief executive Wayne Scurrah said the club was "thrilled to secure a coach of Matthew's calibre".

Regan says"It was a disgrace to let Bluey go like that in the first place. A coach needs at least 2 years to get a team working to his methods and to get respect."

robin currie says"Good luck to the new coach for 2013. The players need to take a good look at themselves. First of all, get fit. They're the only team who can't play 80 mins in 2012."
