Passengers have been escorted off a plane at Christchurch International Airport as police investigate a potential bomb scare.
Police wouldn't confirm the nature at this stage but said they would be releasing an update when one became available.
Mark Andrew Grace said on Facebook that he had been quickly escorted off a plane by police.
"There has been a bomb threat made to the aircraft. Sniffer dogs are going on board. We've all been checked by sniffer dogs and all our bags are getting x rayed," he said.
Christchurch Airport said it was a police matter and declined to comment.
A Fire Service spokesman said they had not been alerted.
