What better way to spend a Sunday than to get covered head to toe in mud?
Jackson Mills, 10, was one of hundreds of kids who did just that as they participated in the Mud Monster Mud Rush event at Long Bay Primary School.
The Harbour Sports annual event sees competitors make their way through a muddy 2.5km obstacle course.
Jackson and the other participants had to crawl through mud pits, slip and slide down water slides and were covered completely in mud as they went.
The event started a few years ago as a community day and Harbour Sport got involved in 2013.
