A 20-year-old Levin man, appeared in the Levin District Court facing five charges of discharging a firearm, namely a Stealth paintball gun.

On Thursday December 27, Anthony Thompson is alleged to have fired the weapon at pedestrians while being driven around Levin. He entered no plea.

Thompson has been remanded on bail to reappear on January 23.
