A Wellington man accused of depraved sexual acts against young boys has been given more time to change his guilty pleas.
Aaron Laurence initially pleaded guilty to 59 charges of abuse including the rape of boys and filming and distributing footage of their ordeals.
At a sentence hearing earlier this month Laurence said he would like to change his pleas to not guilty.
Newstalk ZB reports that his lawyer said today he needs more time to get affidavits and evidence of support for that application.
He said Laurence is not vacating guilty pleas on all charges, but certainly the more serious ones.
Laurence was remanded in custody until June 13.
