A man who ran nude around a park near Tauranga this week has been let off with a warning.
A man, in his 40s and wearing nothing but running shoes waved at children and adults as he jogged around McLaren Falls park on Thursday.
Police arrested him when he was found, still naked, in his car. He was yesterday let off with a warning, the Bay of Plenty Times reported.
A police spokesperson said the man described himself as a naturist and did not think he was doing anything wrong by running around naked.
