The motorcyclist who died after crashing into the back of a rubbish truck near Blenheim this morning has been named.
He was William Dwayne Rogers, 21, of Picton.
Emergency services were called to the crash on State Highway 62, known locally as Rapaura Road, at the intersection with Selmes Road, at 5.30am.
The cause of the crash was not yet known, Constable Ian Mills of Blenheim police said.
