A six-car crash caused brief delays in Wellington's Terrace Tunnel around 6pm this evening.
Acting Inspector Bruce Mackay, of police communications, said there were no injuries reported and all cars remained driveable so were able to be cleared quickly.
He said the vehicles were moved from the tunnel before it was established what had happened.
