Police have ruled out any foul play in the disappearance of the crew member of a Liberian-owned cargo ship anchored at Auckland's Bledisloe Wharf.
Detective Senior Sergeant Steve Breach of Auckland said it appeared the boat had hit a rough patch of water and that the missing crewman had gone on deck during that time. He said it was likely the missing crewman had gone overboard.
