A man who lifted up skirts of women waiting at traffic lights has been sent back to jail.
Timothy Campkin, 27, was sentenced to six months' prison in Wellington District Court today after last month pleading guilty to indecently assaulting a 21-year-old woman and breaching a court order.
When he appeared last month, the bearded, balding man smiled and suppressed giggles while the court heard an account of his actions from police officers who had been standing at the traffic lights a few metres away from him.
Crown prosecutor Malcolm McClure said that when police arrested him, Campkin told them "he did this sort of thing all the time" and wanted to go back to prison.
