One person is dead after a three-car collision in Whenuapai, west Auckland, this morning.
The cars collided at the intersection of Mamari and Brigham Creek roads about 10.40am, causing one to roll and trap its sole occupant, a police communications spokesman said.
Road closures were in place at the Brigham Road intersections with State Highway 16 and Trig Road, and the intersection of Totara and Dale roads.
Police, ambulance and the fire service were attending, and the Serious Crash Unit was investigating.
