NEW DELHI - At least 25 people were feared killed and more than 250 injured on Tuesday in a collision between two passenger trains in northern India, television stations reported.
Star Television said an express train and a local train had crashed in the Hoshiarpur district of Punjab state and at least 25 people had been killed.
"The information we have is that 25 to 30 people are dead and more than 250 injured," said a spokesman at the Punjab police chief's office.
