WeatherWatch: (July 24) Cool change ahead of weekend high

A low near Antarctica will fire up some cold air over southern New Zealand for the next couple of days with showers moving up the entire western coastline. Eastern areas, for the most part, will be sunny with temperatures bouncing back up in most regions this weekend as a high moves in. However, like the last high, we may get more cloudy weather in the west.
