Do you travel light or heavy?
Light, although with all the kids' stuff these days it's getting a little heavier.
Cattle or first class?
First class (a), or (b) ... well I guess they call that economy!
What's always in your hand luggage?
iPhone, a good book, stuff to keep the kids amused.
Are you a planner or last minute packer?
Definitely last minute but that's not to say that there is no planning involved, it just happens at the last minute.
What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?
1973 Fender Telecaster.
Favourite or most exciting airport to land in?
It's hard to go past Queenstown for an exciting approach and, of course, a spectacular destination.
Best packing tip?
The best tip I ever got was to lay out what you are taking on your bed, then halve it.
Most memorable trip?
I travelled through Namibia in Africa a few years back. The incredibly dramatic scenery is burned in to my memory. The dry lake beds mid-desert next to the tallest sand dunes in the world, the wildlife parks and the German architecture.
What do you do while on the plane?
Try to keep the kids calm, listen to music, read and watch the inflight entertainment.
