HBO has released its first teaser for the highly anticipated third season of Game of Thrones.
The fantasy epic is a sprawling tale about the warring kings, queens and powerful families of the fictional world of Westeros.
In the trailer, Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) delivers a monologue about chaos as the faces of the major characters from season one and two appear on screen.
It closes with a shot of the newly-disfigured dwarf Tyrion smiling into the camera.
