A man charged over the fatal shooting of a woman in Warkworth yesterday has been granted name suppression.

A 20-year-old man will appear in the North Shore District Court today after a young woman was fatally shot in Warkworth yesterday.

A woman found dead outside a Warkworth medical centre, north of Auckland, appeared to be fatally shot elsewhere, police said.
