Russell Crowe directs Gallipoli epic

In 1919, four years after the devastating Battle of Gallipoli, a father (Russell Crowe) embarks on a journey from Australia to Turkey to discover the fate of his sons who have been reported missing in action. THE WATER DIVINER is Russell Crowe's directorial debut and is based on a screenplay by Andrew Knight and Andrew Anastasios, it will be released in cinemas later this year. Jeremy Clarkson has denied claims of racism after he was accused of using the word "n*****" in an unaired episode of Top Gear. In unseen footage released by The Mirror newspaper which was filmed by the BBC but later edited out of the aired programme, Clarkson can be seen reciting a children's counting rhyme while selecting which car he prefers.
