New Man of Steel trailer

A new trailer for the upcoming Superman movie Man of Steel has been released. It emphasises the human side of Superman through a conversation between Clark Kent and his adoptive Earth father Jonathan Kent, played by Kevin Costner, before ending the hero taking to the skies. Man of Steel is helmed by Watchmen and 300 director Zach Snyder and produced by Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan. Henry Cavill plays Superman.

After Earth trailer released

The trailer for director M Night Shyamalan's new sci-fi blockbuster After Earth has been released. It features Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith as a fictional father and son who crash land on a post-apocalyptic Earth where "everything has evolved to kill humans".

The Hobbit: On the red carpet

Hobbits, elves, wizards and all manner of Middle-earth creatures were part of a crowd of thousands that gathered in downtown Wellington in November 2012 ahead of the world premiere of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. The Hobbit: Stars have media laughing

The Hobbit stars met the media in a press conference before it's World Premiere, Sir Peter Jackson had press from around the world laughing as he revealed how Barry Humphries nabbed the part. Comedy is something that's more evident in JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit, which was written as a children's book, unlike the much darker tale of The Lord of the Rings. Jackson said the lightness and the comedy in The Hobbit was a joy.
