The Minister of Agriculture is on his way to Europe, to talk with like-minded agribusiness countries.
Damien O'Connor will travel to Germany, Italy, France and the UK - and will meet with key European stakeholders on EU-New Zealand free trade agreement negotiations.
His trip comes just after the Government celebrated a decade of work by the Sustainable Land Management and Climate Change Research Programme - in which $50 million and 150 projects helped our primary sectors adapt to climate change.
O'Connor says the knowledge we have around adapting our agriculture to remain profitable and sustainable, is coveted by other countries.
