Store lamb prices showed no signs of easing at yesterday's Stortford Lodge sale.

Many of the big lamb buyers were absent but that had no effect on prices for the yarding of about 1700 head.

There were only eight cattle on offer. A pen of 18-month Friesian bulls weighing 291kg sold well at $860/head or $2.95/kg.
