A fantastic day out and a chance to experience a diverse range of scenery is on offer on Saturday, at a fundraiser at Akitio.
The walk/run event over the coastal hills at Akitio traverses two stations, Marainanga and Moanaroa, and climbs to the Kereru trig, and will be an amazing opportunity for everyone taking part, organisers say.
The money raised will go towards the maintenance and upkeep of the Akitio Community Centre.

The views will be fantastic and participants will see up to Cape Turnagain and down to Castlepoint.
There will be two walk and two run options - two walks of 10km and 13km, and two runs of 13km and 21km.
The trails can be varied underfoot, with some rough bumps, grass and uneven tracks but organisers say generally the going is good.
The course will be clearly marked, with marshals posted at regular intervals, and two water refill stations at Kereru Trig and Basin Yards.
