Hold on to your hats - it's the Two Farmer J's. Today Jeremy Rookes and Jason Uden dissect last night's election result.
So what does the new government mean to the J's? Jeremy Rookes can't see how the National Party lost after getting "a massive chunk of the vote on its own."
Jason Uden reckons the National Party should have pushed its advantage and Bill English didn't "act like a strong leader" and dropped the ball when it came to negotiations.
Ultimately the J's remain philosophical about the result, with Rookes saying that this upset could be the catalyst for National to come back "refreshed."
"Change is inevitable...and National hasn't refreshed either so this could actually be a great thing for National."
