One of Martin Devlin's favourite pastimes is to make fun of The Country's Jamie Mackay.

One of Martin Devlin's favourite pastimes is to make fun of The Country's Jamie Mackay.

Every day on Radio Sport Jamie Mackay and Dom George catch up with Martin Devlin before beginning their own show The Country. The purpose of this exercise is to let Radio Sport listeners know what important agricultural topics will be covered by Mackay.

It is also to open up meaningful dialogue between The Country and The Devlin Radio Show. However it usually ends up as a slanging match between the hosts.

Wednesday was no exception with Dom and Jamie being referred to as 'The Goon Squad' and a hyperventilating Devlin chastising Mackay for his boring storytelling abilities.

The spectre of Jamie's inability to fill his Lycra shorts is raised before all parties dissolve into breathless giggling.
