Dean Hegan, from Essentially Group, which represents Dan Carter and Richie McCaw, said the players were self-effacing, down-to-earth, and very marketable.
"At the end of the day, it's not just about image, it's about being a personable, likeable guy," he said.
His advice: "Get out there, make the most of it. It can be a short career."
But he said even for high-profile rugby players, making good money from endorsements is rare.
Sara Tetro, celebrity manager and director of 62 Models, said the team's efforts would appeal to advertisers looking for spokesmen.
