Danny Lee fired an even-par 69 during the second round of the AT&T Byron Nelson tournament on the PGA Tour in Texas as he slid down the leaderboard.
After opening with a three-under 67 yesterday, which included an ace at the par-three 17th, Lee was sitting inside the top 10.
But the 24-year-old wasn't able to pick up any strokes today as he finished the second round in a share of 39th.
Overnight rain forced a three-hour delay today, while the par-four 14th hole was also shortened to a 104-yard par three due to the downpour. A collection of players were still on the course when the second round was suspended due to darkness.
Americans Jimmy Walker and Jon Curran sit atop the leaderboard at nine-under, alongside Australian Steven Bowditch.
Kiwi Steven Alker, who carded rounds of 69 and 71, and countryman Tim Wilkinson (72 and 68) both finished at one-over and look set to miss the cut, which was projected to be at one-under.
Meanwhile, at the Mizuno Open on the Japan Tour, Michael Hendry remains in a share of the lead after the second-round, despite carding a one-over 73 yesterday.
The North Shore professional opened with a nine-under 63 on Thursday but couldn't keep up that pace yesterday as the field caught up with him. He holds the lead with three others, including Australian Scott Strange, at eight-under.
The top four players from this week's tournament get direct entry to The Open Championship in Scotland in July.
At the Lanhai Open on the PGA Tour China circuit, Josh Geary carded an even-par 72 yesterday to sit in a share of second place after the second round. Geary and two others are one shot back from leader J.H. Wang.
Kiwi Daniel Pearce is one shot back from Geary at four-under in a tie for fifth, while Waikato professional Mathew Perry is at two-over in a share of 35th.
Geary leads the order of merit in China having won the Buick Open last month.
