Central Districts and Wellington rejoiced as rain washed out their final-round women's one-day cricket match -- the heavens ensuring they will meet in next Saturday's final.
Both teams picked up two points for the abandoned fixture at Wellington's Kelburn Park, leaving Central on top of the table with 28 points, followed by Wellington's 26.
The other four sides all have two matches remaining but they are now too far back to haul in the leaders.
Central will finish as top qualifiers after hammering Wellington by eight wickets yesterday.
