Stormy weather has ripped a yacht from its mooring and washed it on to the rocks in Wellington this morning. The police maritime unit responded to the incident about 8.30am on Cobham Drive in Evans Bay, Inspector Dave Rose said. Wild weather has washed the yacht up on the rocks by the ASB Stadium, where it is still being battered by stormy waves.
