It might be Winter now but the weather pattern looks stuck on Autumn mode with changeable conditions this weekend. Rain, heavy at times, will move up the West Coast on Saturday then into the North Island on Sunday. Eastern areas of both islands should be mostly dry, but northern New Zealand looks wet or showery on Sunday.
