The Department of Conservation has been accused of gross incompetence after today’s tragic stranding on Farewell Spit. The strong words have come from Whale Rescue, an organisation which has taken part in hundreds of whale rescues here in NZ and overseas. Steve Whitehouse technical advisor of Whale Rescue joins Laura McGoldrick to discuss this disaster.
