A Waipukurau man faces fines and court costs of almost $10,000 after admitting 40 computer pornography offences.
In the Napier District Court yesterday, 44-year-old Owen Lewis Potter faced charges including 20 of possessing objectionable publications, and 20 of importing objectionable publications.
Crown prosecutor Nicola Graham said Potter was one of thousands investigated around the world in a hunt begun two years ago by US authorities.
