Emergency services were called this afternoon after a report a pedestrian was hit by a car outside New World supermarket in Rotorua.
A police spokesman said they were called at 2.17pm to a report of a car versus pedestrian accident at the Old Taupo Rd supermarket.
Hato Hone St John Ambulance spokeswoman said the ambulance found a patient on a nearby street, Miro St, but the paramedics weren’t officially called to the incident.
“We assessed and treated one patient in moderate condition who was transported to Rotorua Hospital.”
